Does econ mode really worth keeping on?

Live in a highly place
Ff there are times when you need to turn it off to climb a hill or something, then turn it off. You are not being graded on fuel economy.
Eco mode on most cars saves a little on fuel in city driving where there are frequent stops/starts and slowdowns/speedups. This comes with a slight impact on performance, which might not be noticeable for many people.
Turn off ECO whenever having to deal with hills or inclines. Your Civic gets damn good mileage anyway, simply leave it in NORMAL.
You would be wiser to drive in the sport mode so the tranny shifts at higher rpms and doesn't carbon up the motor.
All Honda motors have a common issue with the valves getting tight and the valves need adjusting every 60,000 miles.
Keep eco mode on for going down hill, and switch it off coming up hill
It is mainly for highway cruising… Not in town
Just enjoy driving, enjoy your life. Why would you waste your time on thinking about silly things like this.
- Vehicle I drive is a 2007 Honda Element that just turned 64,000 miles. I'm rigorous about keeping up on maintaining it People constantly approach me and ask if I want to sell it because the body and interior are in great condition as are all the internal workings and suspension. Even though Honda does not require synthetic motor oil I use Valvoline full synthetic and change it every 4,000 miles with a new factory filter. My question is how long will my engine last?
- Prius: Can someone explain the power usage meter & specific difference between power mode and Eco mode? My brother just got me a Prius to replace my old beater Honda and I'm having difficulty understanding the power usage meter (meter on dash with "Charge-Eco-Power") and the difference in the Eco & Power modes. I do understand the charge bit on the meter.
- Can't decide on keeping my dirt bike or selling it and getting a motorcycle? I bought a 1986 yz125 and have been looking at a honda magna. I want to ride a bike on the road but i love offroading. Would it be smarter for me to just save up and find something some time in the future or should i sell the dirt bike and get the motorcycle. I enjoy and love my dirt bike but i also want to ride a motocycle on the road its restored
- Would a 4 Cylinder Car in Sport Mode be able to accelerate faster than a V6 car in ECO mode? Take the Honda CRV Turbo at 190 horse power 4 cylinder in Sport Mode vs the Oddysey with 285 Horsepower on ECO with a V6.
