I don't know if I need a SR22 for both of my vehicles or just one

My license is suspended due to driving without insurance. In order to have it reinstated I need a SR22 & a prepaid 6 month insurance policy. I have two vehicles, a 1999 Honda that I own outright and a newer Jeep that I'm still making payments on. Obviously the cost to insure the older Honda is less. My question is once I have obtained the SR22 policy for the Honda and get my license reinstated, do I have to get a second SR22 prepaid policy for the Jeep? Or can I get a cheaper policy with monthly payments for the second vehicle?

The SR22 filing is all about you as a person, not a vehicle. You'll need to file an SR22 on every vehicle you own and operate.

You might, maybe possibly, get out of the SR22 filing on one of your vehicles if you agree to exclude yourself as a driver on the insurance policy. But only maybe possibly, because it depends on where you live (which you didn't say), who insures you (which you didn't say) and what the hell you did to require the filing (which you didn't say). So maybe possibly, and that's final.

Each vehicle that you own and is driven must be insured. The SR-22 Merely certifies that you have insurance

SR-22 riders are for your drivers license being restricted and should not be "by the car" you own.

You need that high risk SR22 bond that covers liability only. Not cheap. The financed car also requires a full coverage insurance that is going to be expensive as well. The SR22 does not cover either vehicle, but covers you driving
