Can a 2013 Honda Fit last 20 years or 300k miles
I want to save really lots of money so I'm not buying a new car for the next 15 years. My 2013 Honda Fit would be my workhorse till 2033.
When you see the estimate to get the CVT transmission fixed when it fails, you will likely get another car.
Honda, not too likely. Toyota, much better chances.
I don't know about a Fit, but Toyota, Honda, and Subaru are usually in top 10 lists of cars on the road the longest. I had a 1995 Nissan Maxima SE 5-speed for 18 years and never had any mechanical issues with engine or clutch despite competition driving (parking lot slaloms and high speed autocross on 2 mile road racing tracks). I got one of the first ones off the boat May 1994 and traded it April 2012 for a new MazdaSpeed3. My winter car is a 2008 Subaru Outback that was still like new when I bought it over a year ago with 150,000 miles on it.
- What problems should you expect to have buying a car with 300k miles? Looking to buy a 7 year old Honda with 300k miles cause it's really cheap. What are some problems I should expect to have?
- How many years will a new car last before it breaks down often? If you buy a brand new car and keep up with maintenance, how many years can you expect to get before it begins breaking down often, requiring frequent and/or expensive repairs? 5, 10, 15, 20? I know this can vary depending on the model, but let's assume a Honda or equivalent Japanese car.
- Is the 2013 Honda Fit with over 50k miles on its clock still good enough for a road trip I'm going to use it for a 150-mile travel to another city. Is the car still reliable enough to do the job?
- How many miles and years can my 2012 Honda Civic last? I have a 2012 Honda Civic that I recently purchased from carmax I'm a college student and wanted to know how long my car would last me. I have 93k miles on it now. I drive about 40 miles a day from school to work. I wanted to know how many years would my car last and how many miles I can get out of my car. I do oil changes on time
