Car insurance compared to small truck insurance?
I have a Honda Fit right now, but am interested in buying a new small four-wheel drive truck. How do insurance rates generally compare (in Ontario) between a subcompact car and a small truck?
Similar for liability coverages but price may vary for comprehensive and collision coverage as they are based on vehicle value.
I would imagine a new truck would cost considerably more than a Honda Fit, but if you want to know for certain, pick up a telephone, call your insurance agent's office and ASK HIM!
- Should I save up for car or stick with truck? Okay my family has 3 trucks, they gave me one that's usally sitting around. Excellent condition. Toyota tacoma 2003 4x4 with sr5. Only thing I hate is the mpg. I have a part time job and in high school as a sophomore. Should I start to save up for a car (mazda, scion, honda) with much better mpg or just stick with the truck? It gets about 15 mpg. I was looking to get a a car around 5k.
- Difference between driving in a big car and a small car? So I've been practice driving with my mom's Honda pilot. What is different in a small car when driving. Do I have to pull that ebreak when parked on hill and downhill. I'd have to pay this driving ed place to use their car and a sponser. Also i'm so frustrated I can't get parallel parking at all.
- How reliable is Chevrolet Malibu compared to Honda, Toyota and MAzda? My mother is looking to buy a new car and it seems 2015 Chevy Malibu is the cheapest mid-size sedan available. The price at the local dealer is $17,500 compared to $23,000 Mazda 6. My Mazda protege has almost 200k miles and has never ever given me any trouble. However my 2009 Subaru Outback with 60k has been nothing trouble. So I was wondering how reliable are those Malibus? Do they need expensive repairs done often?
- Sports car or Truck? Do you prefer a guy who drives a sporty car like a Mustang or a pimped out Subaru/Honda, or do you prefer a guy who drives a nice truck?
