Cost to install subwoofer?
Let's say I want to have a professional install a 10-inch subwoofer and amp in my Honda Fit.
How much will this cost approximately?
Do it yourself, its easy, and won't even take you an hour,
all you need is screw drivers and side cutters, buy some power cable, speaker wire and RCA cables (or a wiring kit which are cheap and way easier) then all you need is a sub and amp, hide the amp under the drivers or passengers seat poke some power cable thru your fire wall (there should be rubber plugs you can cut a hole and feed through) hook that **** up to your battery then to the amp, hook your RCA cables to your amp and head unit, wire a ground cable to the seat bolts, you can choose to wire your remote wires to the ignition so the amp turns off every time you turn the key off, or put a manual switch in.

Its around $200 dollars in south Texas i don't know your area but it should be around that price.
- Install front license plate bracket myself, or at dealership? Cost difference? I know it'll be cheaper to install it myself, but I'm afraid to damage the front bumper since I have to drill holes to attach the bracket. If a dealership does it they'll know exactly how to do it since they do it all the time. It's Honda that I'd be dealing with. I know they're expensive, but would a bracket installation really be that bad through them?
- What subwoofer's should I get? I have a 2001 Honda Civic Coupe DX. I'm going to listen to a lot of Hip Hop, Rap, House, Alternative, Pop, Rock, Trap, and a bit of Dubstep. Sound quality and Bass is very important to me. Can anyone recommend any great brands, that are also economical?
