Does a 5th Gen honda prelude h22 head fit a 4th Gen prelude?
I have a 1996 honda prelude si (4th gen) with a h23 engine and I want to swap my head to a h22 and I couldn't find any 4th generation being part out, but I did find a 1997 honda prelude (5th gen) being part out and I'm not sure if it'll fit my engine.
One way to check is see if the gaskets are interchangable. If they are it doesn't mean it will be ok but if they're not you can't put it on.
- What is this part in my honda prelude 4th gen? There's a small black box right under the air intake tubing that has two hoses coming out, one of them is disconnected and I need to find where it goes. Unfortunately I can't find it in any vacuum hose diagrams. Anyone know what it may be? I'm pretty sure it connects to the air intake or atleast one side does but there's no open holes I could see
- Should I buy a honda prelude (4th gen)? I want a honda prelude 4th gen automatic & as my daily car. Would it be a great car? Also I want to know if anything is wrong with the 4th gens. Please let me know anything about the h22 engine.
- My 1999 manual honda prelude does not shift into 5th gear or reverse smoothly? My gears are smooth from 1-4 but then takes a lot of effort to go to 5th or reverse. Also when you get out of 5th or reverse it doesn't go straight into neutral like a normal manual car. They still work but it is very annoying that i have to push it into the gears and pull them out. What could the issue be? Transmission? Shift box? I plan on changing to a short throw shifter in the future.
- Honda prelude 4th gen good? Is the 4th gen good for a daily driver. Automatic. I also want to know if any problems with 4th gen? I heard it overheats.
