First car decision making
I'm looking to buy my first car. Some recent cars I've loomed at are;
1995 Honda civic Del Sol Si (minor issues)
2001 Hyundai Tiburon
1993-01 Honda civic DX/CX hatchback
1994 Acura Integra ls
2000 Toyota Celica
1988 Toyota Mr2
My recent searches are all over the place. I'm mostly interested in smaller cars, coupes. If there's a car on here that you think would be a good fit (coupe/ small car), please recommend.
Insurance is going to be high on all small coupes, in case you haven't considered that.
And I had am MR2 way back when, Its a ticket magnet. Most sports cars are.
Got rid of it shortly after the ticket.
(I was a dealer so it was easy for me to sell at a small profit rather than a loss)
- Would a Lifetime Warranty influence your car buying decision? I'm debating between a 2017 Honda Pilot and 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Pilot costs $28K but comes with a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty (several Honda dealers offer this) while Santa Fe costs $25K but just 10year/100k miles warranty. So do you think its worth paying $3k more for a Pilot especially since it comes with a Lifetime Warranty? I mean the warranty probably is worth $3k alone?
- I'm making big mistake on my car glass? I'm so stupid i just make a mess myself cleaning glass invisible my new car 2014 rear and windshiled glass start get pitted tiny highlight before i wash my car using plain water my glass not showing any pitted so that is my fault or auto honda build glass like that
- Taking my car into the shop for the first time (my first car and first time at a shop)? Recently acquired a 1999 Honda Accord for $1500 with only 160k. Runs great but my dad checked car and said oil is low and then proceeded to check the rest of the car and said all my fluids need to be replaced. What does that mean and what is the price for fixing this? I want to go to the shop with some sort of understanding of the prices so I know if I'm being ripped off or not.
- Is Honda Accord 2013 model a good decision for a first car? I'm getting my g2 licence next month and and looking to buy my first car. I wanna buy something used but not too old. I'm thinking of buying a Honda Accord 2013 model but i don't know if I'm being realistic. I make $2000 dollars a month.
