Is the 2013 Honda Fit with over 50k miles on its clock still reliable for a long road trip of 500 mi - 1

If it's in good condition and has been properly maintained it should run for another 150k miles. Hondas are renowned for reliability. But that is only as good as the maintenance allows.

As long as the maintenance is up to date and there's nothing wrong with the vehicle, the Fit will be fit to go the distance ( pun intentional ).

Of course it is. Then again who knows if you've been changing the oil every 3,000 miles or how the brakes and tires look. If you don't have a clue how to make sure a car is ready for a trip go have a mechanic check it out for you.

500 miles is a long trip?

Hi well if it is not after a full service from Honda none of us have a dogs chance with cars which are even older. It does need a service other wise it will let you down.

  • Honda Nighthawk road trip? About to take my first big motorcycle road trip. Going from Kansas to Texas on my 1992 Honda nighthawk 750. My question is if the bike that old will make it there and back without much trouble and if they make saddle bags and windscreens etc that fit that type of bike? Any pointers would help thanks!
  • Is the 1985 Honda CR 500 water pump gear shaft compatible with the 86-2001 Honda CR 500 water pump gear shaft? I have a 1985 CR 500 and the water pump gear shaft broke. It has been discontinued from Honda, and no one else has it. It is a metal gear. The one's for the 1986-2001 CR 500 are plastic. If I have to use plastic, I will. However, I prefer not to. If anyone knows where I can get the OEM 1985 Honda CR 500 gear shaft, I would forever be grateful.
  • Is the 2013 Honda Fit with over 50k miles on its clock still good enough for a road trip I'm going to use it for a 150-mile travel to another city. Is the car still reliable enough to do the job?
  • Is the 2013 Honda Fit okay for a road trip? I'm going on a road trip and I'm going to use my 2013 Honda Fit on this 150-mile trip and this is the first time I'm gonna use this car on a long road trip. It uses a 1.3 L engine. My friend said that its engine will over heat. Although my car still runs like new and never had any major or minor issues… Is it okay?
