Rim and tire fitting on honda?

Alright so I just got some xxr 527 rims their 18 I forgot the exact dimensions but it's pretty deep and I went on a website (carid.com) and it said it wouldn't fit I got a 2013 accord coupe ex-L v6 but I know there's people that can make it fit adjusting things and what not but I wanna know what would have to be done and how much it would be by doin it your self or to pay some one thanks

Hi Rim depth and offset is the issue combined with pitch circle diameter of the studs or lug nuts. These items are not modifiable. So no matter how good an engineer you are not all things are possible.

An Accord can certain take 18's, so the ones you bought are either too wide, have the wrong offset, or have the wrong bolt pattern. Perhaps a combination of more than one of these.

Overcoming bolt patters would require replacing hubs - that would be stupid now your spare won't work, too wide means rubbing is inevitible, and offset issues can cause fit problems and negatively impact the ride and handling and cause excessive wear on suspension components.

The best solution is to get wheels that are right for that car - that will be cheaper than modifying the car to fit the wheels.

A question for you - why in the world would you buy wheels without knowing for sure they would fit on your car?

A 2013 accord coupe EX-L V6 can most definitely accommodate a 18 inch tire and rim combo. If fact, your trim level of Accord came stock with a 18 inch tire and rim package. However, unless the 18 inch diameter rims are 8 or 8.5 inched wide they would not be within Honda specs. You are also limited to the use of rims with a 5-114 bolt pattern and a 40 to 45mm offset.
