Should I get my transmission fluid change?

I own a 2009 Honda fit and it has 137k miles on it. It's a manual transmission and bought it 20k miles ago. I have no clue if it has ever had it changed. Should I do it? I have heard mixed answers

Check your manual routine maint around 50,000 miles then go up until you find the miles for the trans lube changed.
It's probably never been changed.
Drain refill using 80-90 weight gear oil.

Yes definitely change out the gear oil that's in the transmission

You should drain and fill the ATF every 60,000 miles if you want to avoid having to rebuild your automatic transmission!
Don't flush it.

What does the owner's manual say? If you don't have an owner's manual, get one so you can keep up with the recommended maintenance schedule. It should be a free download from the Honda website. If you don't know the maintenance history of your car, go to any Honda dealer's service department and have them pull up whatever service records they have and give you a printout. If it has ever been serviced by a Honda dealership anywhere in the country, they should have a record of it. That will at least give you a partial picture of its maintenance history and might tell you if the transmission fluid was changed within its original warranty period.

ITS a manual transmission so you change the fluid if you want to. Make sure that you use the Honda recommended fluid for your transmission.
mine uses engine oil for the 5 sp transmission my Honda car uses ( so stay away from 85w90 this guy doesn't know squat about Honda cars)
IF the car is an automatic transmission with those paddle things or that you can drive it like a manual trans then yes change it but make sure to use honda recommended fluid.

YES! With a Chevy Impala.
