What small car can I buy for college?
I really want to know of some small cars I can purchase for College, like a mini cooper or mazda demio or honda fit or even a fiat. Price and Brand and not an issue.
Knowing where you are would help… Given the Mazda Demio is a recommendation, I'd guess 'not the USA'.
Think smallish, reliable and versatile. Depending on the winter weather, maybe 4 wheel drive (again… We don't know where you are or where you are going).
Also think about ease of maintenance and low cost of ownership (I love the MINI, but that really knocks it out of the running - the new 2002+ MINI at least).
I'd think Toyota, Honda, Kia if it were me. Keep it cheap and simple.
If you want something slightly used, I'd look for a Honda Element. They stopped making them a year or so ago, but they are small, easy to drive and SUPER practical. The floors can be hosed out and the rear seats configured in many different ways (hauling stuff to the dorm or hauling friends out for some fun or car camping at a concert).
Something fuel efficient, i would recommend honda, toyota, chevy, ford and kia

- Difference between driving in a big car and a small car? So I've been practice driving with my mom's Honda pilot. What is different in a small car when driving. Do I have to pull that ebreak when parked on hill and downhill. I'd have to pay this driving ed place to use their car and a sponser. Also i'm so frustrated I can't get parallel parking at all.

But I was talking to our neighbor and she bought her son an old BMW, like 2011, and her son didn't talk to her for weeks. I want my kid to have a good time at college and not be embarrassed, but the article said these two cars were really good for teenagers. I was kinda iffy when I read about the Honda and then they said the Buick, so this may be made up or something.
