What tire size will fit 2013 honda civic EX-L on 17 inch wheels while maintaining the stock height?

I currently have 16 inch stock rims with 205/55R16 tires and I recently ordered a 17" rims for my car, but I still have trouble figuring out what wheels would fit those rims so that I can still keep the stock height and not have any gap in between or rub my fenders! Your reply is highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Please answer it if you really know about it because once I buy these tires, I can't return them! Again, Thanks a lot in advance.

You need to got to a tire dealer to determine the offset and a lower sidewall tire to compensate for the larger rim

The original equipment tire size recommended by Honda on a 17 inch wheel and tire combo for your Civic EX-L is 215/45-17. Hopefully the wheels you purchased are 7 or 7.5 inches wide with a 40 to 45mm offset. Otherwise you might have a problem.

The correct +1 from a P205/55R16 91H is 225/45R17 91H (or any higher speed rating) although 205/50r17 XL 93H also works. 215/45R17 does not work. Too small in diameter and insufficient load carrying capacity.
