If it's the car you want and if you think it is worth nearly £12,000 and you can afford to tax, maintain and insure it, then it may be a good deal for you. The fact it is diesel powered means it will not hold its value… And should not have held its value so far. There's not much wrong with diesels but they are going to be hit by a rise in car tax and demand for them is dropping off seriously due to adverse publicity about their pollution levels. Their market value is declining fast.
Sounds like a fair deal. A better deal would be asking a $1000 or $500 discount and getting financing from a bank or finance company with the same or lower interest rate.
