Honda amaze -fuel leakege?
I have purchased Honda Amaze (diesel) on 8th November 2013.
On 18th February, 2014 my vehicle started fuel leakage, for which I had to call service station, who arranged to get a mechanic to the spot within 30 minutes. The problem was rectified after I left the vehicle for a day in the service station.
On 8th March, 2014 mid night while driving back home the vehicle had similar problem and the car stopped abruptly after the fuel got leaked completely again. This happened twice within a span of 20 days! I had to call Honda emergency service to tow down the vehicle at around 3AM. Since Sunday was holiday at the service station, now on Monday morning I'm waiting for their final diagnosis. Now I'm worried about the safety and the time wasted without enjoying the benefits of driving a new car. Can anybody enlighten on the problem?
Honda Amaze. It will amaze you as it breaks down yet again. But seriously, what is there to be enlightened with? You bought this car brand new? It has warranty on it? If yes, get it back to Honda immediately and tell them to fix it and you should be given a rental loaner car for the time being. A fuel leak is pretty serious and should be fixed properly by the dealer. If it was serviced at the station and it is now leaking AGAIN in the same place then the service station did not do a very good job. I would have Honda look at it and repair it correctly before you drive again. After the repair it may be a good idea to keep an eye on the fuel level and check for leaks after you go for a drive.
- Which car should i buy toyota etios petrol or honda amaze petrol? Price is almost same, Amaze has 1200cc looks small and Etios has 1500 cc with 90 ps power has bigger space but simple car
- Hyundai xcent or honda amaze? I'm planning to buy a car. I liked hyundai xcent because of its features and looks good too but I see lot of honda amaze cars on roads of hyderabad. So please Tell me which car should I go for and I have not seen much of hyundai xcent on roads… So am worried if hyundai xcent will not be one of the best cars.
- Honda Amaze automatic or Hyundai Xcent automatic? Which would be better purely in terms of performance, acceleration, smooth and fast gearshifts and handling, i mean the better drivers car. I know hondas transmission and engines are great, but is the hyundai as good too? Even though the xcent has only 4 gears, i.e. 1 less than the amaze, it has tiptronic, would this by any chance improve the driving experience? I sadly don't have the opportunity to test drive these cars.
- Does the fuel tank size have any impact on fuel economy between vehicles? For example the new Honda Accords have a 56 Litre tank while the CRV has a 53 L and the Rogue a 55 L. Now the 2 latters are compact crossovers and are arguably bigger in size than the Accord, so would that mean they are using up more gas? Would that mean its better to buy the Accord if we were going based on just gas mileage?
