Honda c100 cylinder head bolts?

I have a Honda c100 and there are 4 cylinder head bolts 3 the same and one different what is the reason for this and is it necessary for one to be different?

Check the manual.

I have no idea about the C100, but on some other small engines of a similar design that I've worked on, the single longer head bolt was there to help line the others up: the long bolt went in first, loosely, and the head could then pivot on that bolt to allow the other bolt-holes to line up correctly.

One is different because someone took the head off and lost a bolt.

  • What is this on the cylinder head next to spark plug? (pic)? The top is cracked off mine, honda nsr 80 and there's a connection that is supposed to go on top of it. Will my engine run without this connected?
  • Starting problems Honda c100? I have recently restored a Honda c100 and now can't start it. The best I can get is a slow tick over for about 20seconds if I have the choke and throttle fully open. This to me says to much fuel. I have changed the fuel hoses and the new ones had a slightly bigger bore diameter. These go from the tank to the tap on the carb. Would this be causing my problems or does the tap restrict the flow anyway.
  • OBD1 cylinder head on OBD2 block? So I have a 97 Honda Accord with the F22b2 motor, it is obd2. Can I swap out my head for the F22b6 head from a 95 Odyssey that is obd1, and not have to worry about any rewiring or cutting or creating electricial problems down the road. Is it just plug and play or do minor modifications need to be made to get it to perform properly?
