Honda Craftsman lawnmower starts then dies out?
Whenever I start my lawnmower, it will run for 10 seconds and then die out. The cord is kind of tough to pull too if that adds anything.
These engines need spark, compression, air and fuel. The usual problem from your description is lack of fuel. Loosen the cap on the fuel tank, this checks for a plugged air vent. If the unit runs then clean the vent. Most likely cause is a dirty carburetor or fuel line or filter. Spray carburetor cleaner does NOT clean the jets which is where the blockage usually happens so get a service and maintenance manual and follow the instructions to rebuild the item or buy a replacement for it. Least likely cause of this problem is spark issue but that does happen.

Before 6k and after 7k the acceleration is good and quick, before i had problems where the engine would just cut out when hot so i changed the ignition coil with original honda one but this problem is still there, i just don't know where the problem could be, the carb has been all cleaned and a bigger jet to match the new exhoust was fitted…
- Dropped motorcycle - engine sputters then stops. Later on starts, but stops again? I dropped my 2000 Honda Nighthawk CB750 on its right, picked it up in It was riding fine right after, then about 10 minutes later it sputtered and stopped while riding. Looked like the battery and starter motor were fine, engine just couldn't turn over. About 10 minutes later it started, and I rode for a couple miles. A few hours later I rode it again, but it only lasted about 2 miles before stopping again. I waited a few hours after that it started again. Does anybody have suggestions?
