Honda Elite 50 Top Speed?
Buying a used 2001 Honda Elite 50 tomorrow because I crashed today and destroyed my current scooter. Seller claims the Honda elite can reach up to 40mph going flatland. Is this true? My old 50 never even hit 30. Also, I play college football and weigh 300lb. Still think it'll hit anyway near 40?
Likely not. But you can always test drive the scooter. Check for a noisy timing chain and ask if the drive belt has been replaced.
Man, you need at least a 80 Honda made elite 80's too ( i feel kind of foolish for telling a 300 pound man to buy a 80cc "scooter" ) anyway Your most likely correct for your size and weight you won't get that bad boy to 40mph I normally do not recommend these things but If your just looking for local transportation Then maybe consider those chinese scooters there cheap Some even have a good parts support in the USA. I know a lot of those things are junk But there are handful that actually make a decent line of scooters There cheap there's a decent selection with the engine sizes too If its just for cruising around campus and getting around town locally Then maybe consider a larger one like a 80 cc or a 125 cc even There may be no special license requirement either But for a gentleman of your stature. Your weight will slow the acceleration, but you'll go nearly the same speed as anyone.
- How fast can my car top out with the electironic speed governor? My car is a 2003 Honda Element awd 4 spd. I've only been able to find answers about this question of the 5 speed Elements. My car However is only a 4 speed Auto. How fast can my car go before the limited kicks in?

- Freeway driving more difficult to drive speed limit than to speed? Driving on freeway slower its more difficult than driving faster is it because the car is lighter or higher rpms give you more control or what i drive a fwd stock Honda thanks it's a lot easier to drive at 80 than 60
- Does a top mount intercooler have to be on top? I've got a 13b Turbo II Intercooler from an rx7 and I was wondering if it could be side mounted on a honda. I figure I'd just have to custom fit it somewhere but, I wanted some input if it would work like that. It should considering it's just a basically a cooler.
