Honda foreman 400 won't start?
Added (1). I have a 2000 model Honda Foreman 400 (trx400fw) that has blown the main fuse and is going straight to ground from the main fuse (realized that by doing a continuity test) additionally, the fan comes on and stays on when the switch is turned to the "on" position and the starter is not getting power when the "start" button is pressed while in neutral and holding the left brake lever. (the starter itself works) any suggestions on what to check next?
Replace the battery. Remove the spark plug, spray starter fluid, put the plug back and start. Troubleshoot from the result.
- Why don't i get any response of my 2004 honda 400 ex when i accelerate? When i let the clutch completely out it moves slowly but when i accelerate it doesn't go faster but i can hear the engine, and also its estrange that it doest tuen off when i let the clutch out without accelerating. Can some one give me a tip of what's wrong with it, is it the clutch and i need a new one? If so what would be a good option, thanks
- My 1983 Honda nighthawk 650 won't start with the electric start? I recently replaced the ignition coils because the old ones were getting heat soaked and the bike would die, however now the bike won't start with the electric start it turns over fin and the starter sounds fine but it won't start occasionally it ll start when it's cold or try to but I've been having to bump start it in order to ride it. So what's making it do this? Could it be the kill switch? Or something else?
- I have a Honda HRX217 push mower. Backfired when trying to start it, now it won't start? It was running, then I shut it off to open and close a gate, and when I went to start it again there was a really loud backfire and now it won't start. It will sound like it's almost about to start but not. Then get progressively weaker each pull. I changed the spark plug and cleaned the air filter. Any ideas?
- I have a Honda Harmony HRB215 K4 SDA that won't pull start but if I take off the recoil and drill start it, it runs perfect? I have a Honda Harmony HRB215 K4 SDA that won't pull start but if I take off the recoil and drill start it, it runs perfect. I did a compressin test, the pull start only gets the mower to 60psi but the drill gets the mower to 150psi. This mower does have a decompression vale where the ehaust opest about 1/8 of the way. I tore the ead off and checked and cleaned the valves. They don't stick open. Could there be an issue with the decompression valve? Or would it be the piston rings?
