How Cadillacs, Mercedes, BMWs cost more than Toyotas and Hondas

What exactly are you getting for that extra money? I mean,
you can get a Toyota that has leather seats, shaded windows, climate controls, and it would still cost less than a Cadillac XTS. What exactly are you getting for the extra money? Is it just the style you're paying for?

Buy one of each and see which you like best.

Generally the build quality is better, but that doesn't justify the price tag. Like buying Nike trainers or an iPhone, you're paying a lot for cool. In a logical world, you'd work out what you need and check out what offers the closest specifications. If you want a car to drive to the supermarket, a Toyota or Honda is probably the best choice. However when you floor the accelerator on your Beamer and it goes VROOM! Logic goes out of the window.

I *DON'T* know that BMW costs more than Toyota.
A 320 hp BMW3 4dr leather etc. Costs $34,900, the 300 hp Toyota Camry XLE V6 has an MSRP of $34,400.

Drive a Cadillac, Mercedes or BMW and you'll know. It's better everything.

Toyota and Honda are always at he top of the reliability lists whereas the other guys are resting on past laurels. A fool and his money are soon parted.

Aside from the extra creature comforts, in N. America, the added cost is in part a luxury tax.
