How to bypass a honda chipped key system?
I lost my only transponder key to the car, is there a way to use an unchipped key and bypass the system?
I want to know if there's a way to bypass the transponder and transceiver system for the ignition? I don't want to spend 125 dollars for a locksmith to come out, and the dealership said they charge 145 and the car has to be there to program the chip.
VIN number? The procedures will differ from car to truck or else. Anyway, the immobilizer is there for a reason, less than $200 is very reasonable to have your vehicle running again. You'll need the immobilizer brake code and in anyway I do not want to get into the details of the procedures. Hope you'll understand. HTH
- If my 92 honda key isn't working, can I replace just the part where the key goes in, or do I have to do more? They are telling me that with installation, it will be like $300 at least, My friend just had the same problem, but in an much older pick up, but she said they just replaced a small part where they ket goes in?
