How can i get more torque out of a honda gx200?
I really Don't think anyone is going to custom build a gearbox to change that so your next option is to increase your boom. You need more air/fuel mix going in. You need to give the engine enough power to push the car and all its weight when its not at high rpms. So a turbo would probably do it but that's not cheap. You could do a nose kit but I don't think that's worth your time if its even legal where your at.

- Honda Civic EX 1.8L 2008 w/auto trans and 135k mi. Bad torque converter? When I arrive to a stop sign it has a hard time downshifting from 2 to 1, I need to give a brake and wait 5 second until I feel or hear a clunk which means it has already in 1rst gear. Another sympton is vibration it has been increasing these days under normal operation, it is a small vibration like a non balanced wheel. It feels in to the transmission stick. Based on readings I would like to know if this could be a bad torque converter.
- Does a 2004 Honda Civic LX have a Torque Converter Clutch? I have a problem with my car. There's a check engine light pointing to the TCC Solenoid. I researched the whole system and how it works and when I was replacing the transmission I do not remember seeing a clutch for the Lock up mechanism and was wondering if it does have it and where it is. If the car has it since there's a solenoid for it then I will go ahead and check the harness why it is stuck-off.
