How well built it the Chevy Sonic? Built for over 100k miles?
Hello… Looking for a work vehicle. Does anyone know how well built these are? And how long they are made for? Comparable to a honda?
The Chevy Sonic is actually a Daewoo, built in S. Korea. It seems to be of similar quality to the KIA and Hyundai that also come from S. Korea. Not as good as Honda or Toyota, but if you take care of it, it should last for at least 100k miles.
- Over filled motorcycle oil and riden for 5 miles? Basically i like an idiot over filled my motorcycle (honda vision 110) with to much oil. And rode it home from where i bought the oil (5 miles roughly) alot of smoke blue smoke came out. I've drained it but was just wondering what's the likelyhood of serious damage? Its not not kicking out smoke since i've drained it. Currently in bits as i've only just bought it brand new basically after saving so hard any help is so greatly appreciated!
- Good cars over 100,000 miles? I'm looking to purchase a used car. I have a budget of $7600 and everything I'm finding is over 100,000 miles or kept in poor condition. I talked to one of my friends who is a mechanic and he told me that mileage is everything but I can't find anything low mileage in my price range. He told me to look at Toyota and Honda but I really don't like either. My question is what other cars should I be looking into purchasing?
- Is it worth buying a used Chevy Volt with over 100K miles on it? The price is right, but is it worth it? I know I would have to install a power charging station which is an additional 1000 dollars. There's one for sale at 14,500 dollars… But most used Volts are around 23,000 dollars. My other two considerations are a new 2015 Honda Fit or a used Mark 6 VW Golf TDI I've seen people on youtube who average 120 mpg with the volt! One guy's was even 1000 mpg, I don't think he even brought it to the gas station since he bought the car!
- How many miles will a 2004 Honda CR-V last, of it was maintained well and not driven hard? I was given a 2004 Honda CR-V by an elderly woman. It has 225K miles and she was the only owner, with no accidents.
