I have a Honda HRX217 push mower. Backfired when trying to start it, now it won't start?
It was running, then I shut it off to open and close a gate, and when I went to start it again there was a really loud backfire and now it won't start. It will sound like it's almost about to start but not. Then get progressively weaker each pull. I changed the spark plug and cleaned the air filter. Any ideas?
The flywheel key is either bent or broken. It is a very simple fix. Just replace the key and it will start. This video will walk you through the repair.
- How much of a problem did Hondas have with there push to start feature failing to let their cars start? I have heard some people say Honda had a problem with this. Was it just a few Hondas or was it a big problem?
- How long to run a near full gas tank out? Push mower? Is a Honda gvc 160 4.4hp. I would drain it from the gas line but I've got some Lucas injector cleaner in it.So about how long do y'all think? And yes I've already cut my yard two days ago.
- How come my atv won't electric start but will crank if I push start it? 2006 Honda trx. Doesn't have a pull rope only electric start. The starter motor turns over the engine but just won't start but I'll push it down the yard with it in gear and it will fire right up. I'm so confused by this.
- Honda Quadra cut mower won't start? I got this free honda quadra cut mower from a guy who barely used it and didn't have time to fix it when it broke. Iv fixed lots of mower before but this one is getting the best of me. When i pull the cord it sounds like its going to start and right as its about to… It doesn't. Its very frustrating because it is so close to starting. Any ideas?
