I turned my Honda standard 4 wheeler off in 3rd gear

It won't let me change gears now so help every i turn it on it just says 0 and the gears like -- when I try to change it I can't

Tough question you can either rock the quad back and fourth and see if it will let you change gears after or you can jack up the quad and see if it will change gears while its not under its own weight

I don't know what is happening. I know that what gear the transmission is in when you turn off the engine IS NOT the problem.

  • Is the 1985 Honda CR 500 water pump gear shaft compatible with the 86-2001 Honda CR 500 water pump gear shaft? I have a 1985 CR 500 and the water pump gear shaft broke. It has been discontinued from Honda, and no one else has it. It is a metal gear. The one's for the 1986-2001 CR 500 are plastic. If I have to use plastic, I will. However, I prefer not to. If anyone knows where I can get the OEM 1985 Honda CR 500 gear shaft, I would forever be grateful.
  • My Honda feels sluggish in 3rd gear, any My Honda Civic from 2008 feels like it has no power in 3rd gear even in high RPM's. 1st, 2nd, and 4th feel perfectly fine (i don't use 5th enough to notice it) and it seems like they have lots of power (relative to 3rd gear). When i go up hill i feel the car shift from 1st to 2nd and then to 3rd but then the RPM's fall as if the engine was under stress. Then it shifts back into 2nd to compensate. Any ideas? (Its a 2008 Honda Civic automatic, base model)
  • Honda civic 97 isn't staying on after 2nd gear and turns off? So I start my car holding the clutch I change out of first gear into 2nd gear and still keeps running, but right after the car shakes and turns off. My clutch isn't burnt out I ensured there was no pop or smoke so I don't know what may be causing this. Any suggestions? Please it would really help.
