Nah, the 98 just is designed a little smoother, looks leaner.
I personally prefer many of the early and mid 80's Hondas, but street bikes. I'm not really a dirt rider. Except when i took a 76 350-4 cylinder out thru a field!
Earlier bikes just seemed to be better designed for human interaction. But things got to "improve". I think the 98 would be good for you.

- After replacing timing belt, water pump, head gasket on 1992 Honda civic with a d15b7 it shifts harder? Changed the head gasket the other day. Had the head re-done and all. Runs great but shifts up and down harder. Any ideas how to fix this?
