Is the Volkswagen CC a reliable car? - 1

I'm in the market for my first vehicle. I really like the VW CC 2010-2013.

Did anyone have experience with this car? How much was annual maintenance, and did it give any problems?

I was interested in either a Honda or Acura because the maintenance is very cheap for them, and I'm a college student so I want to save money.

The CC i found locally go for $5-7k, and it's fair to me.

Is it reliable?

German vehicles are mechanical madness. I have seen a few VW's with a lot of miles but they are very complex and expensive to repair. A Honda or Acura would be a much better choice since they are reliable and made to last unlike any German car.

All they really got going for them is the design in my opinion. I was disappointed by its performance.

I just read some reviews on it and they are not very good. People are having engine issues with it. I would probably avoid it. If you really want it make sure it has been serviced frequently for fluid changes. Make sure the timing belt was changed. Make sure transmission fluid has been changed. Also, test drive the car and make sure the engine runs good and transmission shifts smoothly. It might be a good idea to spend a little money and take it to a professional mechanic to have it checked out.

No, it is not a reliable car at all. Look it up online or consult Consumer Reports. Honda and Acura have very good reliability.

Hi number one fact of life sunshine MOTORING is not cheap it all costs money. Face that FACT. Reliable comes from a better quality of maker. So now VOLKSWAGEN has lost the plot with being reliable. Your best buys are Honda as ACURA is a honda product. Yes it is a honda. So time to fork out some money for an expensive car.
