Is this a good enough hint for a guy that I like him?

I know for a fact guys usually need you to be straight up but I'm SUPER shy and too scared to do it, so I came up with this idea. The guy I like is a mechanic and his boss allows him to do work in the shop after hours as long as it doesn't take away business (in other words, they only work on Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler, I have a Honda) and he's helping me change my breaks to save a couple extra bucks. I was thinking about giving him a hug after and calling him a sweetheart for helping me out after we're done since that is VERY out of character for myself. Thoughts?

I don't know, hug seems too much. I personally don't like being touched by my customer or strangers or people I barely know, so who knows he might be like me too. He might have a big personal space, I don't know. Plus you're shy, isn't that going to be really difficult for you?

Probably giving him a card with your name & number and gesture of "call me" would be enough. If you want, you can even throw a kiss.

I think thats a good idea. Its not super obvious but it will get him thinking. It will also make him feel good. This would defidently make him like you more and get you on his mind which is a catalyst for attraction.
