Mazda Miata, good first car for 20yr old guy?
I've always liked the miata, but I've only seen older models in person. Yesterday, I saw a modern miata, I think 2013, and I was honestly blown away. From the side I thought it was a Honda s2000! The profile was shocking like sportier than previous models, but still had that "Miata" design, if you know the meaning. I stopped and knocked on the guys door and asked him how did he like it.
He was a bit taken back at first, but then he came out and we started talking about the car. He said its a great daily driver and he honestly feels like a kid driving a go kart on the road with other cars. He said it doesn't have tremendous grocery space, but enough for someone like me (Without a family or household to support). He even tipped that when he was in HS he had an older Miata that he bought and it honestly was a lady magnet.
What do you guys think? Should I pull the trigger and get one? Oh, by the way, the guy was a lot taller than I thought he'd be. He was around my height, 6'2.
It sounds like you already like the car. They are cheap and reliable, so if you can live with the utter lack of cargo room…
Go to the dealer and sit in one. If you can fit comfortably with the top up, go for it.
Miatas rock!
- What is a good beginner bike for a big guy? What would be a good touring, cruiser type starter bike for a big guy. I'm a 400 pound guy and am looking for a great starter/cruiser bike. I have looked at a honda shadow 650, or a vulcan 800, but am unsure of how powerful they actually are and if i can even handle it.
- Good beginner motorcycle for a 6 foot 2 guy? I'm looking at getting a motorcycle. I've looked at the common bikes for beginners such as the Yamaha V Star 250 and the Honda Rebel 250. Though I've read that if you are tall, those bikes aren t a good choice. I'm looking for something relatively cheap and preferably around 250cc (I understand I may have to higher the cc amount since I'm tall). Please give me some suggestions!
- Mazda reliability? Particularly 2013 mazda 3? I'm in the market for a new car and I was looking between 2013 Toyota corolla which is just boring and doesn't have as much features compared to Honda, or mazda. The Mazda 3 is at a good price 1000 dollars cheaper then the Toyota. So my question is, is Mazda reliable for that generation, or should I stick with a very well known reliable car maker?
- I'm looking for a list of cars that look similar to the mazda miata? I'm looking for cars that have the same look/shape. I have a few right now (nissan z, honda s 2000, porsche boxster) i don't have a certain price range or anything. Just similar in the outside. Thank you! I really just need a range of cars that look the same in shape!
