Best 250 cc two stroke dirt bike for under 2,000?
I had a kawasaki kx 125 when I was younger, and now I have a kdx 220r. But I enjoy speed and the kdx is just too slow. I've driven a ktm 200, and it was nice. But I've never gotten on any of the Hondas, or Yamaha's Any suggestions? I know it's gonna be used for that price.
Do you really want a two stroke bike? You have to mix the oil and gas and a two stroke puts more wear and tear on the engine, not to mention a lot more pollution. If they aren't already doing it some states may soon start taxing people with two stroke engines more than four stroke engines. Don't believe any stories you here about 2 stroke cycles being faster than 4 stroke.
Yz250 is a good bet
- Would you purchase a 2004 Honda pilot for $6,000.000 that has 216,000 miles on it? I'm just browsing online looking at cars for sale and a lot of them have 200k or more miles on them and they want $4,000 or more. Why do people sale their cars for such a high price with a lot of miles on them? Its not just Hondas its all types of cars private and dealers as well
- What's the best 250r 2-Stroke dirt bike? I'm talking about the main Japanese made bike also including KTM, such as Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Yamaha.
- What are the best 4 stroke dirt bikes to get (from greatest to least)? I'm thinking about trading my Honda cr85 big wheel for a 4 strike but I'm wondering what are some excellent 4 stroke dirt bikes that are about the same size as my cr85 big wheel?
- Learning on a 250 Two-Stroke KTM? I've ridden four wheelers all my life, but I've only ever ridden a dirtbike once and it was a 4 stroke Honda, so I know the two stroke KTM will have much more power than I'm used to, but I'm looking to get into bikes and my buddy will sell me one CHEAP. Is it a fairly good bike to learn on, how hard IS it to learn on, and will it be a good bike to just take for rides in the woods as I won't be racing it like the previous owner?
