First motorbike help? 23, roadtrips + city living?
I'm unsure what bike to buy… I have been looking at the Honda Grom for practical reasons (MPG, reliable etc) but i love the look of the Keeway Superlight and is the design style I imagined myself riding.
I just finished university and live in the countryside currently but i will probably move to London after my gap year.
On the gap year however, I'm going on a 5 month adventure around Europe.
I'm not adverse to fixing my own bike, i'm aware the Keeway has mixed reviews but i really know very little about motorbikes. Will I be missing out on a biker experience if i got the grom? Should i just save for the grom if i did go to london? Is the grom actually fine in all aspects or is there another bike you would recommend…

Added (1). Also, i'm aiming to spend less than 2k (around 1.2k ideally) and looking to get a used bike but there's wiggle room.
Honda is a very good quality product. The Grom is not for high speed travel. It is a low powered beginners, stripped down motorcycle. Probably a good street commuter, but kind of ugly. The Keeway is better looking, but pay attention to what owners say about it, reliability, or lack. Most Chinese and other east Asian-made motorcycles are not powerful compared to Japanese products.
I'd consider a used Japanese cruiser 250-650cc. Biggest you can afford and/or legally ride for better open road performance. They are all reliable, have good parts back-up if needed (you won't) and anyone can fix them. With the Keeway you're likely to be stranded somewhere awaiting parts. Around Town, the Grom is fine I guess, though I'd be tempted to get a full auto scooter of 125cc
- Why is my Honda CB250 motorbike spewing out so much smoke? When I run my bike it gives off a lot of smoke when riding and at the lights. As far as I can tell it runs fine, but just smokes a lot. It was so bad tonight that the taxi behind me was pretty much engulfed by smoke, so much so I was worried if he could see the road properly or not. I of tern take it on longish distances (over an hour of riding at about 90ks an hour (56 miles. Could that have damaged it ( I know its not exactly designed for that)
- Which Scooter should I get as my first ever motorbike? I will definitely buy the Honda Activa. No I'm confused between the 3 varients available in India. The Simple Activa, The Activa i & the Activa 125cc. My ride will be around 22kms daily through a mixture of bad & very bad roads. Also I'm a first time rider, means I will learn on this vehicle too. I'm proficient in bicycling. Please advice.
- Which Motorbike should I get? I'm planning to get a motorbike next year to get to school every weekday and to commute a bit. I'm thinking of buying either a Yamaha YZF R15, Honda CBR250R or a Kawasaki Ninja 300. Which one would be best for me? I'm about 1.7m tall 15 years old 16 next year.
- Which Motorbike Is Faster Stock? Which of these motorbikes is faster with all stock parts? Honda CBR 1000 RR or yzf1000r thunderace or Kawasaki ZX10R or BMW S1000RR Which one would take the lead in a pack. I've heard people say they've gotten the thunderace to 203 with mods, but i don't know.
