Honda CBR600RR side fairings?
Is the side fairing of the CBR600RR models produced from 2009 to 2012 removable? I'm about to buy a used one and I really like the way the 2007-2008 fairings look like, but I'd prefer a new model so I was wondering if I can get a 2010 or 2011 and just remove that part.
No changes were made to the engine or chassis of the cbr600rr from 08 to 12. The only thing that changed was the graphics and colors so if you get a 2012 it will be the exact same thing as the 08 except it will have that cover over the engine case Which looks to be part of the belly pan fairing and not removable. An option is get the 10-12 and buy the 08-09 belly pan fairing and install to the 10-12 it will work since it's the exact same thing
- Will running my headpipe mess up the engine on my 2009 Honda CBR600RR? I've seen lots of people say it's bad and others say that it won't bother the engine at all. So can someone please give me an answer. I've removed my stock exhaust and left just the headers on my bike. It seems to run normal, it's quite a bit louder though. This is not a permanent thing, just something I thought about doing for a couple months until I can get a full exhaust kit.
- What's the best way to remove paint off of motorcycle fairings? I just purchased a 2015 Honda CB300F and I love it. My only issue is that the previous owner had spray painted the side fairings white, and now the paint is chipping off. All together it was a pretty sloppy job. I was thinking of maybe using a paint remover, but would that damage the plastic?
- What is the minimum amount of times should I operate the 2008 Honda CBR600RR super sport motorcycle if I operate the 2008 Honda? CBR600RR super sport motorcycle in New York City and park the 2008 Honda CBR600RR super sport motorcycle in New York City?
- I recently purchased a motorcycle (HONDA CBR600RR 2009) but the steering makes a funny noise? When I steer the front wheel to the right or left it just makes a squeaky noise. I'm wondering if other cbr600rr owners have the same issue. I took it down to dealership they said its the wiring and its normal. Anybody hear any noises when you try to turn the front wheel right or left during complete stop or when the bike is parked.
