Honda CR250R leaking black oil from exhaust pipe?
My 2001 Honda CR250R 2-stroke motorcycle is leaking black tar-like oil out of the exhaust pipe. I have not payed much mind to it and its been happening for a while now. It not a constant leak but it will leak it out sometimes and my rear rim is filled with the black oil.
I've seen this happen to most 2-strokes. It is messy, but not always an indication of any trouble. You could try a different 2-stroke oil that burns cleaner. I used Bel-Ray or Honda Oil.
Repack the silencer.
The packing gets loaded with oil from the premix.

Oil build up in the silencer is the first sign of the engine requires a top end rebuild.
- What kind of exhaust pipe is this? So this is my first bike, and the pipes are just a little too loud. I'm looking to install some baffles to quiet her down and get a little better back pressure. Everything I've seen online pertains more to straight pipes and I just want to know what the technical name for these ones is and if you could possibly recommend a baffle as well, that would be incredibly helpful. They have a 3.5 inch diameter at the end. It's 1979 Honda CX500 Deluxe.
- Honda 1986 cr125 leaking oil? I traded an old car for this dirt bike and I've been riding it for a few months now and it's been leaking oil from a hole that is underneath the gas thing. I need to find out if that hole is supposed to be there or not and how to fix this. Thank you.

- What type of exhaust gasket should I use when fitting new exhaust? I would like to install new exhaust system on my car and was wondering if I use the flat oval shape gasket or round conical gasket or both? I'll be installing a backbox and centre pipe. It's a 1998 Honda Civic.
