How much faster is the Honda Interceptor (VFR800) than the Honda CBR650F?
How much faster is the interceptor (VFR800) than the CBR650F?
Also with the interceptor increased power wouldn't the chain break a lot?

If you are trying to figure out what to buy, just go ride both of them, and figure out what you can afford and do it.
Engineering a chain that won't break is not a problem, they can use a chain with thicker/stronger links on the bigger motor.
Top speed will be mostly irrelevant, and acceleration of either bike would be comparable to a Corvette.
So from a practical commute riding perspective, either one you can split lanes and zoom past the cars.
