Added (1). Honda has the cbr 500 and then there's the 300 class bikes such as the kawi 300 and yzf r3. Would stepping on to a 650 be to much? Should i just stay at 500 or lower? Which of the beginner series bikes will help me to progress more as a rider>
Hi this largely depends on where you live and what the country rules maybe. Like uk or usa.
Best of with the cbr500r small lite and nimble.
650cc twins are perfectly adequate for beginners. 600cc inline-4s are not.
List of some of the great starter bikes that you won't get tired of like you will a 250 or 300cc bike:
DRZ400SM (Supermoto)
WR250X (Supermoto)
ER-6N (naked)
SV650 (naked)
SV650S (sportbike)
SFV650 (naked)
Ninja 650R (sportbike)
CBR500R (sportbike)
FZ07 (naked)
But, even if you would get bored of a 250 or 300cc starter bike, there are lots of near new bikes on the market selling as used because the owners got bored with them after 6 months - 1 year. That means you can get them pretty cheap.
- You say do I need to keep the Bell helmet the renter wore when he slipped, and crashed my motorcycle? My motorcycle is the 2008? Honda CBR600RR super sport motorcycle. The Cofounder of Riders- Share.Com compensated me the full amount of the motorcycle repairer's written damage estimate. I was also fully compensated for the helmet, which the renter wore when he crashed my motorcycle and my helmet.
- Which motorcycle should I get for a beginner? I'm planning on buying a motorcycle because I'm turning 16 soon and I need a vehicle to commute to and from school. Which bike is reliable for a starter? Honda CBR 125CC, Yamaha R125, Ninja Kawasaki 250R or other bikes? I'm also in a budget and looking for a bike around $2,000 and will not go over $2500. I'm also 5'11 and 155 LBS.
- What would be the kind of sports bike apt for a beginner to start-off? I'm new to riding bikes, and I've ridden cruise bikes( I'd like to start-off my sports-bike riding. For now, my options for a beginner's sports bike are a Kawasaki Ninja 300, a Honda CBR250RR and a 600RR. I could afford a budget around 6,000 USD to 7,000 USD. What, according to your opinion and experience, would be a good starter sports bike for a beginner? And what kind of technical know-how and riding skills should I be needing to work on, in order to use one properly?
- Do I need to only start the 2008 CBR600RR or do I need to operate and ride the 2008 Honda CBR600RR super sport to destinations? I was wondering about during times when the 2008 Honda CBR600RR super sport motorcycle is in storage, especially during cold winter temperatures.
