Is a Honda cbr600 a good beginners bike?
I'm 13 years old, and i'm saving up for one. I rode my brothers pit bike on the highest gear possible, while going very fast and going through slippery sand. I was comfortable on it. I feel that a 250cc or a 300cc motorbike is too small. I like the looks and how fast the cbr600rr goes. What do you think of it?
Heck no if you don't won't a 250 or 300 and at least get a ninja 650 less HP but its your first bike you don't want to crash a eleven thousand bike
Perfect pick. A bike that will kill you before you learn to ride.
I think you ought to rethink your thinks.
Oh yeah, my brother's pit bike is 125cc.
At your age and experience I as well as other bikers would not recommend a cbr600, a Gixxer, an r6 or a zx6r.
These bikes are sport bikes and push out around 100hp. Until you are comfortable being on two wheels like you are walking, you shouldn't play with such power.
I started on a 250cc and it was a great choice. I only rode it for 5 weeks before I got bored and then I sold it for $300 more than what I got it for. NEVER EVER WORRY ABOUT SELLING A 250!
I'm really glad that I rode that 250 for about 1000 miles before I jumped on a midsize cruiser (for 6 more weeks) and then on a Gsxr-750.
Wear yourself in. Your first bike is never your last bike. Bikers are always buying, selling and trading bikes. Learn, get comfortable and then flip. Once again, your first bike is NEVER your last bike… Unless you get a sport bike and run it off in a curve.
Before anything else-------
Too slow. Get a Turbo Hayabusa.
- Wheel lights on honda cbr600? My boyfriend just bought a used honda cbr600. It has red lights on the rims of the wheels. The guy he bought if from said one wasn't working so he disconnected both of them. We're trying to figure out how to connect them. Or turn them back on. I've tried looking up everything on google but nothing explains how to connect them or turn them on. If anyone has a similar bike please help me out!

- Sport bike maintenance for beginners? I have a 2004 honda cbr 600 f4i and I want to be able to keep it running and not have to worry. What are some things I need to know for keeping the bike well maintained? By that I mean when should I check oil, tire pressure, etc. And when do I need to change the chain and all that kinda stuff. And is there just any general tips I could use?
- Should I get an Suzuki SV650 or a Honda CBR600 f4i? I'm a beginner rider and I was wondering which of these would best fit me for my first ride. I know one is a cruiser and one is a crotch rocket? So how much difference is there between the two? I'm 5'6 by the way if that affects anything.
