Is Honda Rebel 250cc a good bike for long distace about 400km?

You can ask others that don't ride the Rebel, or you can go to the Iron But Association and check out how many people have done long distance rides. One guy, on a CB250 which is the same engine as the Rebel, did a BBG -- 1,500+ miles in 24- hours. 1500 miles in 24 hours is 62,5 mph -- including food stops, fuel stops, and restroom stops. Others have done a BBG on a smaller bike than a "big" 243cc twin.

I ride a smaller bike, a Vespa 150. I do ride on the Interstates, 200+ miles before lunch. Others ride Big Bikes, and say that the Rebel is not good for long distance. Admittedly, you can't be cruising 80+ mph on a Rebel, and big bikes are more comfortable. But if you like the Rebel the little bike will do Jes' Fine.

Well… Hondas are notoriously durable and reliable. Are you planning a simple trip… A regular commute? Highway travel or secondary roads?
To keep a safe highway speed on your 250, you are going to be turning some higher rpms… If you were going to be traveling such distances on a regular basis you'd likely do better with a bigger-displacement bike.
But sure, for occasional travel your 250 should do fine.

No! Short answer but if that is what ya have then yes! If you are buying a bike to do it get a 400 at least, i don't ride anything less than 1000 cc not enough power, for touring with two up and baggage, but a one time trip would be alright

There's a 450 Rebel that would be better to ride 200 miles at a time.

You can do it. But I wouldn't.
I'm thinking this would involve alot of highway. A 250 will have almost no passing power. My 800 sometimes leaves me hanging in the oncoming traffic lane trying to make a pass longer than I would like.

So, good? No, not good no matter what people tell you. Doable? Sure.
