Is the honda 250r four stroke or two stroke?

So i've found out that r stands for race… Most other bikes have either f or t for two stroke or four. So is the honda 250 a four stroke or a two stroke bike? Or is it neither?

They have a crf250r, which is a four stroke and a cr250r, which is a two stroke. CBR250r is a four stroke.

Cbr250

Honda uses the prefix (first letters) of their dirt bikes to denote 2 & 4 stroke engines.
If there's an F in the prefix, it has a 4 stroke engine.

  • Which looks better: a Kawasaki Ninja 250r or a Honda CBR250R? I'm debating these two bikes and they are both pretty similar. Now I'm just deciding which looks better? Here is a couple of pictures of them side by side. P.S don't just by color. Just plain looks.
  • Which is better for a beginner: a Kawasaki ninja 250r or a Honda CBR250R? I'm a beginner and I'm thinking about getting a bike. Please don't tell me to get a 600 or 1000 or whatever. I don't need those. I can do well with a 250. I just want to know what is better in your guys' opinion. Please explain why.
  • What's the best 250r 2-Stroke dirt bike? I'm talking about the main Japanese made bike also including KTM, such as Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Yamaha.
  • Learning on a 250 Two-Stroke KTM? I've ridden four wheelers all my life, but I've only ever ridden a dirtbike once and it was a 4 stroke Honda, so I know the two stroke KTM will have much more power than I'm used to, but I'm looking to get into bikes and my buddy will sell me one CHEAP. Is it a fairly good bike to learn on, how hard IS it to learn on, and will it be a good bike to just take for rides in the woods as I won't be racing it like the previous owner?
