Is the sound of the honda CBR650F muffled?

I'm planing to buy the new Honda CBR 650F
i have checked all the dealers around me and they said they don't have one in stock
So my question to you is how does this machine sounds?
I love the sound of the bikes that scream like those formula 1 cars
You know the sound i'm talking about? I know the 650 is not considered super sport but do you still get some of that sound or its muffled like the 250cc?

What causes the noise is the explosion inside of the cylinder, many times a second. Call it Pops per Second.

My old Savage, a 652cc single, cruising at 65 mph, did 35 P/S -- a rumble, a vibration like the massage bed in a cheap motel.

The CBR650 is a four cylinder, at 65 mph in top gear is doing 171 P/S -- vibration like a dentist's drill.

But, yeah, it's a four and will sound more like a car than a motorcycle.

All bikes are muffled in order to pass inspection.
If you want it to sound like it's on a drag strip, you will have to change the muffler.

As standard the exhaust note will be quiet and well silenced. Fitting an aftermarket exhaust can may alter this a little but to get it to scream you need to be hitting 9000 ish rpm. That means you will be travelling fast enough for the wind rush to prevent you from hearing the engine note anyway.
