Looking for a certain bike?

Long story short, I love the CB750. I find those 4 into 2 exhaust system fine as hell and like the standard style, but I'm a small guy who can't confidently reach the ground on it. Yet, I'm finding my CB250 to be too small.
Now it doesn't have to be Honda, but are there any under 20 year old bikes like the CB750 but smaller? Or even an American equivalent to the CB400SF?
TLDR: Looking for Inline 4 non crotch rocket for a short fella.

Like wow, dude. The Honda CB750 four was the crotch-rocket of its day. Its only virtue was that it had a helluva power curve. Aside from that I thought it was a top-heavy pos. I owned one, hated it and sold it. There are lots of really good standard bikes out there. Even the smaller BMW's now have short seat options. What is so special about inline 4's? But If you want a bike that looks nice and will cost a fortune to service, go with a Benelli.

GS550, 400/4 (gorgeous exhaust pipes).

The Japanese, not noted for their stature, manufactured dozens of 400s with jewel-like engines, however not all of them were exported beyond Japan. 400cc suited their licence structure.

Kawasaki zx6r will be perfect for you.

Look for a Honda CB400F

Four into one pipes, and the right size for you. Plus it's an older Honda like the CB750F.

There's this myth that small guys can't ride big bikes. It's just that, a myth.

Watch here these two videos of very small guys riding very big bikes.

This one even managed to win the famous Paris/Dakar Rally

There are plenty of videos on youtube with tips and hints on how to ride a big bike even when you're short.

Do it.

I suggest you check out the Honda Rebel 400. Or if you can find one, a Yahama Maxim 500 - 650.

Back in those days, you could lower the back of the bike about 2 inches with 'lowering blocks'. They set the shocks at an angle that automatically lowered the bike. They were a very popular item. If you can't find any from a dealer with catalogs from KK Motorcycle Supply or Dixie International, a bike salvage yard may have them still attached to an old bike.

  • Can I reference a park, or a certain car brand in my novel? I'm writing a book where the charceter is on her way to a certain park, in Dana Point, and she receives an amber alert referring to a certain car type. My question is if I can name the park and car type, as actual names that exist in real life? For example I'd want to use Herritage Park, and Honda Odyssey, but I don't know if I can.
  • Which bike would be a good first sport bike. Looking at CBR1000/600's and also the yamaha R1/R6? I don't know much about the differences, I know some people are all for Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, of Kawasaki. Seems that whatever bike someone has, they say its the best. I wish I could just ride all of them and see for myself. Tampa, FL Sam
  • O3 honda cbr954rr, trying to find certain bolts- not sure what they're technically called? Looking for new ones and having trouble finding them online. Not sure how to word the search. Replacing head gasket. It's the main bolts that hold the head to the engine block. There's 10 of them.Talked to a honda dealer and they said its just called washer bolts but cost $75.+ tax through them. When i search washer bolts even adding engine, head, cylinder head etc. Still find nothing. Anyone know where or how to find them?
  • Looking for a second hand first bike? I'm currently thinking between the Yamaha DT 125R and Honda CG 125. I'm a heavy bloke but not really big, 19 stone and 5'11. The lower looking CG (for my weight), reliability, cost etc of the honda is appealing to me, as it needs to be cheap and bombproof, but the yamaha has more power to shift my weight to-from work, and is offroad, making me assume its better in the snow and with hills (i live in the area around barnsley, and will be travelling about an hour to work)
