Has anyone registered a motorcycle in California using the Application for Paperless Title form?

I'm looking to buy a an old 1980 Honda C70 on Craigslist and the the seller does not have the title. I'm not entirely worried about the bike being stolen and will have the VIN checked before purchase. However there's no title and we will be using this form -http://www.dmv.ca.gov/forms/reg/reg227.pdf with a Bill of Sale. Has anyone actually ever done this? I don't wan to purchase the bike, only to find that there's some requirement to obtain the title with this form…

Should I move up to a 600cc sport bike?

I will be 18 in a few months, and i was wanting to get another bike when i go to college, but i don't really know what to get. I have been riding dirtbikes since i was 6 years old. I started on a 50cc Honda, then i moved up to a kawasaki 125cc dirtbike, then i got my motorcycle license at 14 and i bought a Suzuki 200cc enduro. By about 15 i decided to get a ninja 250. I haven't ridden very much in about a year, i just occasionally cruise around on my dads kawasaki Vulcan. Do you guys think i'm experienced enough for a cbr600rr?

How fast will a 2007 Honda CBR125R travel?

I haven't bought a bike yet, but I'm in the process of searching for one. The CBR125R was a pretty attractive deal to me for both its fuel economy and second hand price. I've heard quite a bit about them and I'm aware that their top speed is above any posted speed limit, but I'm not sure how the bike would perform for my body. I'm 5'10 and 160lbs. Will I be able to reach speeds of 110 km/h?

How long should you prep new motorcycle clutch pads in oil for a Honda CB360 before installing them?

Added (1). I have my new clutch pads soaking in oil right now before I install them. I've heard its good to let them sit overnight, but is it bad to soak them for a few days? I assume it doesn't hurt them at all since they are essentially sitting in oil in the bike. I'm waiting for some new engine gaskets to arrive in the mail before I change out the clutch pads so they could be sitting in the oil for as long as 4-5 days.

Looking for a second hand first bike?

I'm currently thinking between the Yamaha DT 125R and Honda CG 125. I'm a heavy bloke but not really big, 19 stone and 5'11. The lower looking CG (for my weight), reliability, cost etc of the honda is appealing to me, as it needs to be cheap and bombproof, but the yamaha has more power to shift my weight to-from work, and is offroad, making me assume its better in the snow and with hills (i live in the area around barnsley, and will be travelling about an hour to work)
