Wanting to get rid of a motorcycle in A.C.T canberra?
I was wondering if there are any scrapyards or chopshops I could take my 250cc honda CBF. I've dropped it many many times and it has currently been sitting outside in my backyard for roughly a year and definitely does not even start up. I see no way I would be able to sell it without spending hundreds if not thousands first. Would there be any places in the A.C.T or surrounding area that I could take it? Be happy spending a hundred if it means I don't have to deal with any of the hassle of getting it repaired and selling it
Advertise it to give away for parts. Someone will want it
What is the A.C.T area?
Start calling junkyards.
Advertise it for sale on Ebay or a similar web site. You'd be surprised to see how many people show up.
Look for a technical school/youth project in your area, they love a project and you would be helping them.
I'll bet lots of youngsters would like a free motorcycle.
1. Park it out on the curb & put a FREE sign on it. Knock on my door, and I'll give you the keys & title.
2. Here in the states, you can donate it to a benevolent organization.
3. Or put an ad in the newspaper.
Raffle it off. Say it is a " Restorable Classic".
Canberra, Australia? Meaning likely a few strange laws regarding sale of motorcycle, need inspection, road worthiness certificate or some other silly law? Salvage yard, some kind of technical school-- or ask local police.
You could try googling "motorcycle wreckers Canberra"
Alternatively put an ad on Gumtree or FB offering it for a few dollars

- Am i crazy for wanting a supersport motorcycle? I'm 18 and just bought a Honda grom. Rode it for 3 days and I'm enjoying it. Took my msf course and everything. But after riding a friends gsxr 600 i want a supersport myself. Bikes came really natural to me and i still respect them (not the grom) I love adrenaline and the grom already bores me after 3 days and 64 miles. Is this even normal for a first time rider?
- Lease trying to get rid of vehicle I currently am leasing a vehicle and the lease is up in February 2018. I do not have good credit so when they refinance the car I know my monthly payment will be high. Because of family situations I know have to move out on my own. I can't afford rent and a car note. My car is leased through Honda. When the lease is up (I'm over my mileage already) can I just return the car and buy a car cash?
