What forks Honda SL350k1?

I have a 1971 Honda SL175. With no real interest in keeping it "original". I need to bring the bike lower and clear up the space tire>headlight (I know why it has this setup, and will not be taking it offroad ever)

Question: what forks can I purchase to lower the bike? Or would I be able to slide down on my current forks?

I hope you know that the prices on those restored to "original" condition are increasing and original parts, like forks, are in high demand. But if you are, like so many others today, intent on butchering it to display your artistic creativity disassemble the forks and take the tubes to a machine shop. Explain to them how much you want them shortened and when you see that restored SL175 next year listed on Ebay as sold for 7K maybe they can also weld the chopped off sections back on.

  • Can you put harley wide glide forks on a honda shadow ace 1100? Both forks are 41mm. I'm trying to put a 21" front tire on the bike and I'm weighing my options on what I should do. If the forks can set into the triple tree with not much problem Luke only having to make shims then that's the way to go.
  • Will Honda Prelude struts fit a Honda Accord? I have a 1999 Honda accord ex V6 sedan. has stock 15 inch wheels, but will have 17 inch 2006 Acura TL wheels on it soon this will raise my ride height, so instead of spending 1000$ on coilovers, I was wondering if the struts of a 1997 Prelude would fit my car. Any suggestions as to if this might work? Any feedback will be appreciated.
  • How old of year of forks from a CRF450R fit my 2015 450? I have a 2015 honda 450, looking to buy the standard style spring forks off of an older bike. Does anyone know what years would fit?
  • Does a 4 door honda civic si cost more on insurance than a honda civic lx/ex/? I'm looking to buy a used 2010 honda civic si. I've had 4 other cars insured in the past. My insurance is progressive. I've done quotes on several years of the honda civic 4 door and they seem to be in my favor however, the quote doesn't ask for the trim of the vehicle. When i put my vin in will my premium go up? Sorry i'm bad at asking question if that doesn't make sense
