Bob's Ratty Rice-Burner.
Looks like a older late 1960/early 1970s 350 twin that had its rear frame replaced with a 'hardtail' . The drum front brake and what look like early Keihen carbs without diaphrams put it about that vintage. Single OHC head is the 350/360 engine compared to the DOHC of the 450/500 engines. Lots of the 350/360s sold, lots of 'Bobbers/Choppers' made from them as a cheap first modified project.
Take a closer shot of the engine as this photo doesn't show much. The frame is a mod or home-grown and the tank likes like mid-70's.
Sl350.
Note the lack of starter on the front of the engine and twin downtubes. Not sure of the year.
Frame has been hacked into a hardtail (no rear suspension).
The SL was a more "offroad" verso of t he cb/cl 350.
- How would you put a bobber frame on a honda sl100? I'm thinking of getting a honda sl100 and put a bobber frame on it can anyone let me know what size I should get to weld me a homemade frame
- How do I know what kind of tires to get? The cheapest way? I have a Honda with185,000 miles on it. It needs new tores soon but i'm not sure which tires to buy. There are tires rated for 100k miles and some rated for less like 40 or 60k miles. Is it best to pay a little more for longer tread life or is it cheaper to go with cheaper tires initially but they have avshorter tread life. I plan to keep the car for a long time. But not sure how to make the decision on which is cheaper in the long run. Anybody got suggestions?
- I wanted to know if the Honda Civic Coupe and sedan are different lengths but Google says they are the same length. Why is this? I thought the coop was going to be much smaller in inches but it's not Google says it's the same length do you know why this is do they Inlongate the doors and that's pretty much it? To make it a coup and does this apply for all cars
