What type of motorhome is right for me?
No fifth wheels. Straight motorhome. What would be the right kind or length of motorhome for me? I'd like room for my bike, a smart TV, gaming system. Something reliable and not too expensive to fix if repairs are needed. What would the Honda's of motorhomes be?
Class C, wait for one of those Superbowl of Motorhomes sales, or whatever they call them in your area.
A fold up one, like a large box.
For just one person?
Bare Minimum:
In early '70's I had a micro-motorhome -- full size bed, 3 cu-ft refrigerator, sink with 20 gallons of water, 2-burner gas stove, 5 gallons of propane, gas heater, but I will admit no bath/shower and only a porta-potty. I could also carry a 175cc on/off road motorcycle inside. I made it myself in a Fiat 238 van, A bit slow, but with aux gas tank could go 1000 miles without finding gas.
Make your own: You can make a very comfortable van in a Nissan NV200.
Micro: There are some made with a pop-top.
Class B: mostly made on Promaster vans, or the more expensive Sprinter vans.
Class C: Van front with a wider body behind.
What type would be right for you? Depends on what you want, how much space you need, how much capacity you need.
Moderate popular is the Ford E250 'Cargo van' bodied conversions. 8x10 floor space, fits in regular parking space with a bit of careful spaceing, maybe a bit of tail over hang. This is the standard for ambulance/EMT as well as general cargo in cities where overall size may be a consideration. 8 foot high or 10 foot bulk cargo box that can be insulated for cold cargo use as in meats delivery or Icecream. King sized bed or bunks, water tanks, hygiene facilities of basic or more advanced needs and possible Tommy Lifts on back for motorcycles in and outs. Winnebago makes factory rig on similar sized Dodge Chassis, cost more from factory than old Hertz cargo box that needs brake job and maybe mufflers. L
- Why does my atv pull to the right? My Honda TRX250x 2013 pulls to the right. It doesn't really do it when i drive but i do a lot of wheelies when ever i have the 2 front tires up it slowly leans towards the right. Just wanna know why and if i cn fix it its very annoying when your on the road wheeling but the quad veers off to side. I've heard the tire pressure could be the reason? Please drop a comment really wanna get this fixed thanks for your time
- My 2006 Honda Metropolitan Moped is not running right? When I slowly give my moped gas it runs fine until I hit about full throttle, then it like starts to bog down, its hard to explain but we think its a carburetor problem. Due to the previous owner taking off then air cleaner for an unknown amount of time. If you can give me tips/advice I'd appreciate it.
- Can't find a right rear turn signal Honda VTX 1800 N (Picture)? This is the one i need http://www.ebay.com/...1310192920 The bike has been very customized and i'm not even sure if these are custom, but i can't find them.
- 1982 cm250 slipping gears, and not getting the right speed out of each gear? I have a 1982 honda cm250 bike. I recently had the motor rebuilt with new shift forks, etc. I got the bike back and it's doing this issue ( the same issue as when I took it into the shop). I was told that these are common issues with that year motor. I'm having a hard time believing this, as people say it is a great beginner bike.
