Which is a better deal for first motorcycle?

Which motorcycle is a better deal in your opinion?
I'll convert these numbers to USD$, i'm from another country so prices may be higher than usual US prices, this is my first motorcycle mainly for commuting to and from work, will be using for 1+ year then reselling and upgrading, I will be paying through finance, all are from dealerships.

1) 2012 kawasaki ninja 650R, 12000 km milage, 4300$ USD
2) 2014 kawasaki ninja 300, 10000km milage, 3750$ USD
3) 2015 Yamaha R3, 1000km milage, 4500$ USD
4) 2015 Honda CBR 300, 5000km milage, 3450$ USD

For comparison purposes a 2016 ninja 300 new is around 5000$ USD here

The CBR 300 is least expensive, fairly new, has low miles. But check the tires and the chain and sprockets for wear.

If you MUST start out on a "sport bike", go for the Ninja 300 or the Honda CBR 300. You'll only keep them for a year or so and then you can sell them again for nearly what you paid to buy them.

Bike #1 and #1 have far to high km numbers for their price, their new-price isn't that much higher and even if they were much cheaper, at that mileage bikes are usualy worn out and requir lots of money for replacement parts. It shouldnt be bike #1 and neither bike #2 at all.

bike #3 and bike #4 arent that very different to drive and the honda engines are usualy lasting for long time, then that honda (bike #4) costs more than one thousand us dollar less than the yamaha (bike #3).

if the asker is located in india, then it should be the KTM, because the KTM factory that builds the KTM bikes is located in india and accordingly the availability for parts should be very good.

  • What's the deal with honda not being able to use coolants with silicates if it makes the coolant better and safer for the engine. Reason? Is it for a reason or just honda wants our cars to last shortly? Any more answers i was checking out that video then checked and notice newer cars don't use the coolant anymore so what's the deal we have to go back to inferior coolant i've read it eats the seals in cars? Any more information?
  • Is a sedan or small SUV a better first car? My parents both drive sedans, but my cousin as her first car got a Honda CR-V. It made me wonder, as a first car, is it better to get a small SUV or a sedan? I was thinking about getting a Honda myself (or a Subaru) so I wasn't sure if a CR-V or Forester would be a better first car than an Accord or Legacy. Which one would you get?
