Would a Honda CBR650f be easy or hard to maintain?

I've never ridden before so I'm debating between the cbr 500 or the 650. Look I know the 500 is prob a better choice for a beginner, but my first car was a camaro ss 2010… So what would you recommend me to get? Would the 500 be Any different then the 650?

"Easy" and "hard" are relative terms. It depends on both your mechanical skills as well as what you these bikes to.

The maintenance will be the same on either model. You might go through tires a bit faster on the more powerful bike, but there's no difference in frequency or types of maintenance.

What's the point of including what car you have lol? Listen both bikes are for beginners. Personally I like the 650f more because I own one. I have the 2015 cbr 650f and I love it. As soon as I bought it I had the Honda dealer lower the bike because in my opinion it sits to high. I like the feel of the cbr 500 because it's about 1.5 - 2 inches lower. But maintenance is probably the same to be honest. I leaned on a 1000cc gsxr. You'll be fine lol. Respect the power and you'll live. Only thing is I wouldn't recommend buying a brand new bike as your first bike because you will fall and drop the bike. And plus what if you end up not liking it. Why don't you go there and sit on them. Start them up. Maybe even test ride them. See which you like better. I would not go off of what people say on the Internet. At the end of the day your the one who's going to choose what bike you get

  • Which brands of cars are more reliable and less expensive to maintain? I have been driving American cars, Honda, Toyota and they're easy to find parts when something go wrong. I would like to buy a Volkswagen beetle or a European car. Like 2004 or 2003 Volkswagen beetle. If something go wrong, does it cost more to fix it? Is maintenance more expensive than a Honda or a Toyota yaris. I know the Honda and Toyota last forever after a few hundred thousand miles and they re still in excellent running condition with regular services. What do you guys think?
  • Is the sound of the honda CBR650F muffled? I'm planing to buy the new Honda CBR 650F i have checked all the dealers around me and they said they don't have one in stock So my question to you is how does this machine sounds? I love the sound of the bikes that scream like those formula 1 cars You know the sound i'm talking about? I know the 650 is not considered super sport but do you still get some of that sound or its muffled like the 250cc?
  • Is maintenance for a Honda XR650L easy and simple? I ask because I want to buy one for a daily user. Is maintenance the same like a regular motorcycle? Example: More/less frequent oil changes. I wanted the L because c mon, That back hasn't changed mechanically speaking since 92 so you know that s solid engineering. I've owned and still ride an 88 route 66 for 3 years, done my regular oil change 3000miles, lube job, etc. So would it be the same? More work, less work. How s it looking?
