Would I be able to swap my engine and all my running gear (suspension forks wheels gas tank etc) from a 2007 Honda crf70 onto a 1999 xr70?
It's a 99-97 frame for xr70 I have I wanna know if they are compatible
I had a look at some photos and the design has hardly changed in 8 years, mainly cosmetic. I would say that yes, it should all swap over but there may be some issues if they have changed some sizes, like steering head, swingarm etc bearings, but would be unlikely.
I doubt it very seriously. Look at the motor mounts very closely. And all of the other mounts. (fuel tank, fenders etc.)
- What's the best engine (to add horse power and torque) that i can swap into my 1999 Honda Prelude? Currently i have an H22A but i heard that the k series or even the f series are better? Is this true or should i just stick with my H22A?
- What is the the difference between a resin tank long and a resin tank short? For a 2001 honda passport? What is the the difference between a resin tank long and a resin tank short? For a 2001 honda passport 2wd? What are the measurements for each thank you
- Why won't my honda crf70 start up? Long story short I bought it and it has compression it acts like it wants to start up but doesn't. I haven't cleaned the carb or changed the spark plug. The previous owner said he rode it two weeks ago blah blah. I did notice that one wire sleeve that holds two wires green and black were cut. The kill switch isn't cut but two of these wires are. Is this why it won't start up? Just need some suggestions
- Which motorcycle this is? (ex. Honda, kawasaki, yamaha, etc.) And series as well (ex. Cbr, ninja, etc.)? Thank you very much! The reason I'm asking is because it is not physically in my possession… Otherwise I obviously would have checked the bike itself.
