My husband is great at auto repair?
So he has built and rebuilt transmissions. On a Honda Toyota and Chevys and replaced engins as well. So don't you think he can do a heater core replacement. Or is this job in a league of its own.
On what? If he has the patience to do a transmission then he can do a heater core find a good repair manual and have a good camera to take pictures since depending on make and model the dash will have to come out
Yes he can - however it is sometimes a matter of interest - and if pulling the heater core requires pulling the dashboard or much of the heating duct work - it is a real PIA do do correctly without experience (interior pastic bits tend to break and deform without the correct toolset practice and factory service manual).
It can be a seriously tough job. Much has to be removed to access the core and then add a part that may be corroded in pace.
It sounds like he is capable. Maybe he needs an incentive such as his favourite pie.
- Why does nny husband have 2 cars? Nny husband and i each have a car we drive. He drives a nissan nnurano, and i drive a honda pilot. Yesterday, i went downstairs to clean the basennent, and i saw a nnercedex benz hidden behind sonne towels and blankets. so, 2 questions: why does nny husband have 2 cars, and is he cheating on nne or what with the second car?
- What is a great starter motorcycle? I have found an '87 Honda CBR1000 for a good price on craigslist, but I don't know if 1000cc's will be too much or not. I really like the look of the bike, and wouldn't mind have it. I have a budget of around $1,000-$1,500.
- I have a Honda GSV 190 mower engine with a broken starter rope and stud stuck in starter that I can't remove. Any ideas would be great When removing the nuts holding the recoil starter in place the nut on the front of the starter is stuck. When I try to remove it the whole stud come out of the engine. Leaving the engine cover stuck to the starter preventing me from replacing the rope. I have tried everything I can think of to remove it with no luck. Heres what it looks like. http://www.ereplacementparts.com/bolt-stud-h425mm-p-554740.html
- What is a great reliable used car for under 6000? I had a Honda civic but now it's total loss due to accident. This car never gave me any problems, only thing I ever change was oil and tires. Now I'm looking for a different car. Too many people mock honda cars, and I don't understand because they are good looking, cheap and last a really long time. I'm into small light weight, great on gas cars. Anything really… Any suggestion is great, so I can get some ideas and do my research.
