NEED GO CART CONVERTED FROM BELT CLUTCH TO CHAIN DRIVEN CLUTCH?
I have a 2 seated carter go cart with a 5.5 Honda motor and is belt driven. I'm wanting to convert it to a chain driven system but need to know how. The frame is chain driven but the clutch is belt driven how do I convert the clutch to a chain drive system.
I would imagine you just swap the belt clutch for a chain clutch. I assume you're talking about a centrifugal clutch. Measure the output shaft of the motor, probably 5/8 or 3/4 inch shaft. May be in metric measurements, in which case I'd not have any idea of the size. As long as the clutch fits well. Not too tight, not sloppy.
Why would you?
- What's the most expensive vehicle you've ever driven? I drove a $150,000 Mercedes G-Class at work today. I work at an auto mall so I get to drive a ton of different cars everyday, but we normally sell mainline brands (Honda, Toyota, Ford and so on) so expensive cars like those are rare there as they only come in for conditioning. I've also driven a Range Rover and Audi Q7
- Do I need the chain adjuster bolts? I've got a honda crf100f, its not a HUGE rush for what I need it for, but the chain adjuster bolt is broken on one side. Do I NEED the chain adjuster bolt? I have new ones in the mail that will be here anywhere from the 2nd to the 10th
- Has anyone owned or driven a Kia Niro? I have owned a Honda minivan for 17 years and I would like to know anyone's thoughts about the difference in handling and driving performance of the two cars. I do know the Honda has a great deal more horsepower than the Kia hybrid, but it seems like a much heavier car.
- How many miles will a 2004 Honda CR-V last, of it was maintained well and not driven hard? I was given a 2004 Honda CR-V by an elderly woman. It has 225K miles and she was the only owner, with no accidents.
