Can I replace my OEM non-navigation head unit with a OEM navigation head unit?
The head unit for my 2017 Honda CR-V EX got damaged. Warranty won't cover it, and it will cost $2,000 to replace.
I found a used 2017 Honda CR-V head unit online but it is for the trim that includes gps navigation.
Can I replace my factory non-navigation with the factory navigation head unit?
Even if the navigation won't work, would everything else work the same by just plugging it in?
My head unit has touch screen controls to turn on or off blind spot motoring, automatic collision braking, door lock configuration, etc.
That would be a question ONLY Honda can answer.
You need to do a parts search.
You will not have a GPS antenna fitted.
- Punctured tire replacement - can I replace only 1 tire - is it safe to replace the PUNCTURED tire only? My 2005 Honda Pilot rear left tire was punctured near the threshhold (ie - sidewall), but still usable. Thus the tire dealer patched it only. Should I replace that punctured tire only? Or should I replace the 2 tires on the same axle? Or even buy a whole set of 4 tires? I'm concerned about safety, and thus your best advice is very appreciated.
- Will a Honda head unit fit in a Mitsubishi? I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant. I recently purchased a Pioneer aftermarket head unit off of Amazon (1 DIN) and all the installation kits that I see at Pepboys, Autozone, etc are all for cars of makes with Honda/Acura, General Motors, etc. Will a Honda (same year) single DIN installation kit fit in my 03 galant? Or do I have to get a specific fitment for my car?
- Can the default navigation software in Honda crv 2007 UK model be changed? Navigation works from a DVD, so wanted to know if there's a way to install something like iGo or other software.
- Why won't my head unit turn on? I have a 1995 Honda Civic Hathcback. I just replaced my alternator and after i did that, my head unit will no longer turn on. The head unit itself still works, just not in my car, and none of my fuses are blown. My cigarette outlet still works and its on the same fuse as my head unit, which doesn't work. I didn't know if this was a common problem people have, but I can't figure out what's wrong with it.
